ARMED FORCES REDUCTION

We're cutting the armed forces by 40,000 in the next two years.

Not sure that it's a huge deal to be honest, a huge rise in forces came when the peak of the war was going on in 2008. The changes are going to reduce it to roughly where it was at before.

The only thing i thought was stupid about it is that they are cutting the forces in Alaska down by 3500 which is one of the front's to russia if something ever happens with that. You never know these days with all the russian bombers flying so close to west coast. But in the end between active armed forces and reserve forces being over 2 million, 40,000 is a small number.

I believe you mean west coast?

I do agree though, it would not be all that difficult for Russia to overrun Alaskan forces if they so desired.

We are seriously gearing up our training 2017 looks to be some kind of deployment year.
But the army has started enforcing rules and drug testing like mad to kick people out.
