Yeah thanks for all your replies.
I went to the dealership just yesturday. First I stopped a Ford since my Friends dad works there. Of course I checked out the 03 Cobra, they had so many that I felt as if I was in Heaven. I test drove a Mystic colored one. The inside of the vehicle was just as beautiful as the outside. It even had the same colored sets as the the paint. Anyways, my dad and I took it out for a test drive, of course I drove. That Puppy had so much Torque and the supercharger sounded so nice. I almost cried. I didn't want to get out. Then took it on the FWY and took it up to 150 MPH then the gov. chip slowed it back down. Went back to dealership and talked with my friends dad. He would knock off 7,000K of the Price tag if I bought from him. So total would be 30,567K. With down payment of 6,000k and monthly payments of $237.
Well I check out the other cars and I 'm not even going to type about that because I bought the 03 Cobra Mystic ED. As of right now I have it setting my garge. I'm about to take my friend out to thhe movies in a few.
Oh yeah I got to keep my 12 sec Talon. I couldn't find a buyer that would pay 8,000K

How many months is that car loan for? Those payments seem really cheap!

wouldn't happen to have been the majestic convertable that was sitting at American Ford in Bloomington was it?
Also definetly check out SVTOA - there is a MN chapter. Get in contact with the presedent
Dan Neidestat (sp) - he has a majestic cobra as well as the VP (dan ?) - ie: president and vp are both named Dan and both have Majestic Coupes.
I was at there last outing at American Ford - to promote the Mayhem event.

I agree with that... this gets me frusterated but what can you do, some parents just have to much money and like to give it to their kids... Getting into a school is a big accomplishment but having your parents pay for schooling would be enough for me, rather than paying for school and handing you 40 grand for a car too.... To me thats a bit too much.
OT :blah:

It may be a nice car but if I was going to have something like that given to me I would follow Mark's advice and stick it into some form of interest compounding account. Then again, if your parents are willing to drop that much for you then they'll probably help you along anytime you need.

Yeah its an expensive car and all, but I got into dsms because unlike Hondas they can go fast. The only original goal I had was to run low 13s to beat Z06s and Mustangs because it seems when people get older they go blow their money on these cars because they can. I get sick of seeing 17 yr old kids driving their parents or their parent-paid for cars. So yeah you earned your car by getting into school and all, but if your at a stoplight, I will still blow right past ya (unless your in your talon).

NO... Correction I worked hella hard for the talon .I worked a SIX FLAGS for two years. So Boo ya ! I'm not a spoiled brat, just a Lucky Kid thats all. Don't think that I don't appreciate my gift. I didn't even want a car because I already had one. But my dad being a FORD guy, he wanted to buy me a ford and not letting him would of pissed him off.
Yeah of pics, I going to barrow my friends camera. But I really don't know how to post them. Oh well I'll learn, since some out there don't BELIEVE! LOL. Thats cool I could believe it either. So know I have to go up to all my ricer friends tell them I have a ford. But I still have the Talon... ha.
Oh DSM Chick, well there ya go, I do work pretty hard. By the way my parents don't have to pay for me going to school, I earned a full schoolarship to go there. SO BOO Ya! LOL
