Have you checked to see if your tps is set correctly and that the BISS is adjusted how it should be?

Re: need help! new to mitsustyle

I had a fuel cut type of issue that was caused by a bad TPS once. Car would fall on its face like hitting a brick wall during a pull. It would do this mid throttle, where the TPS usually sits during cruise. The TPS wore out in that spot of the throttle position, so the ecu shuts injectors down because it appears I let off throttle (decel inleanment).

However it is most likely a ignition related misfire like every one else says. Ignition wires are the weakest link. You could try misting water on them with a water bottle and check for arching.

also did you say you installed an eprom ecu? maybe it's time to look at that as it can give you issues. open it up and look for any signs leaking caps or brown burnt spots etc....i agree turn that boost down and recirc that bov. Also do you have any cels? plugs and gap are extremely important as are boost vac leaks.
