Moving to the Cities!
Hey guys I just thought I would introduce myself. After being in the DSM scene for 11 years I recently sold my 1998 Eagle Talon TSi. Looking forward to meeting you guys and getting to hang out as I know noone in the cities area. My wife and I are moving to Woodbury in the end of June. Still doing the job hunting thing. I was affiliated with www.wingzperformance.com down here in Arizona which was pretty much the innovator in E85 down here as well as flashing stock DSM ECU's. If anyone needs any help feel free to ask!

Re: Moving to the Cities!
That's what I have heard. Problem being I have been offered jobs in Brooklyn Park at the new Honda and Toyota dealerships. I heard traffic is pretty bad in the morning's there too.

Re: Moving to the Cities!
I wouldn't want that to be my daily commute (I'm guessing somewhere around 30-40min one way). Woodbury is way off to the east, not very centralised if you haven't found a job yet.

Welcome!
Yea, woodbury is getting out in the boonies if you're seeing jobs in the NW metro...what type of work do you do? There are a LOT of dealerships in white bear lake, a lot closer to woodbury.

ASE Master Certified and L1 certified as well. Thinking of getting into a service advisor/manager role though. Have applied at some dealers in White Bear Lake and the eastern part of the cities.

Yeah the thought crossed my mind of holding onto it but someone from Chicago bought it for a good price and it is in the hands of AMS now so I feel good about my decision.

Re: Moving to the Cities!
Thanks guys! With E85 readily available up there I really wanna pick up a 1g Auto AWD and go to town. If the right job presented itself my wife and I have looked into Plymouth as well as Albertville to live. But are pretty set on Woodbury.

Re: Moving to the Cities!
Yeah Yuma is out in it's own little world. Blaine seemed pretty nice too. Your highway system up there sucks though. I am originally from northern Iowa by the way. About 45 minutes south of Fairmont or 45 minutes west of Mason City. Been in AZ for 7 years so looking forward to getting back.

Re: Moving to the Cities!
Being a DSM guy, and applying in the White Bear area, I'm assuming that you looked at WB Mitsu. If you did, and haven't heard back - let me know I'll check in with my service manager. If not, get your ass in to the dealership!

Re: Moving to the Cities!
If they are hiring for service advisors or technicians definitely let me know. Probably won't be up there again until beginning of May.

Re: Moving to the Cities!
Bah, our website doesn't have a hiring/career's section. I'll ask Kevin tomorrow if we're hiring.
