to Apple valley and puts my Tranny Back on.

If you have not done and AWD clutch/flywheel install do not come "learn" on my car.

If you put everything back to gether I'll make the deal sweeter.

I have air tools.

I dont have time to figure this shit out myself right now.

Thanks

Craig

Whats different with an AWD setup that a standard transaxle? Other than the X-Fer case. If nothing, no problem, I can do it.

JustROLLIN - main question I had other than needing help getting it back on is the rear motor mount and the teeth of the flywheel touching the starter teeth.

If you want come on down, where do you live?

Well I am at work until later tonight so I wouldnt be able to make it down tonight.

The teeth of the flywheel should not engage the flywheel until the key is actually cranked. The drive gear (pinion gear) on the starter is pushed out and meshes with the flywheel. Its held in place through electromagnetism until the engine starts. The pinion gear is then released from mesh.

So, the starter is as easy as bolting it back into the original holes

Thanks, I guess all I really need is some help lifting the tranny back onto the the shaft. It fell off of the tranny jack.

Give me call tommorrow whenever you feel like stopping by. However, if I get ambituos I may just do it myself tonight.

thanks

Craig

I too can help you out. I've just taken my trans in and out about 3x's the last couple weeks (don't ask). I know exactly where everything goes and how to do it the most efficient. Let me know if you need a hand.

Hey when do you want to do this?

I can do it tonight if your interested. Also do you happen to have a truck?

I'd like to bring over my engine hoist so I don't have to bench press the damn thing in there.

IF you don't remember I'm Brian that lives down the street from you.

-Brian
ps: i can come over after work. And I need the money to finish my car

You sure about that? I did 30+ DSM clutch swaps back when I used to do that crap, not to mention how many times I've done it on my car in the last 5 years. :whipped:
