With a good tune you should have no problem maxing out a 20g on a healthy stock 6 bolt I would think. Someone with more experience should chime in though...

What kind of fuel? on pump gas, ~20psi is about all you want to run w/o a nice tune with a good tuning setup (dsmlink or alt, not just a s-afc).

On some sort of high-octane, with a good tune, you could probably weld the wastegate shut and the bottom-end should hold together. Another 2G 6-bolt swap on here has been making 500-600whp on his this summer.

You gotta try just a *little* bit:

http://www.google.com/search?q=dsmli...ient=firefox-a

Result #1 Get it from the source.

Or, put an evo8 ecu into your car. Either way, get it tuned. LSE doesn't exist anymore, but there are other vendors on here that can help you out!

As long as he has an EPROM ECU, yes Shane could burn him a custom chip also.

Re: quick question about a 20g

What is your current fuel system? Are you running bigger injectors and an upgraded pump? or stock injectors? Your fuel system, tuning system, and the type of fuel will be the deciding factors in how much boost you can safely run. Your bottom end will be able to handle whatever the 20g can throw at it.

Quick answer: A billion

The 6 bolt block can hold quite a bit of power when properly tuned.

I know of at least one but there still might be 2 that are currently available in the classified section. Try using the search button.
