Tomorrow morning at 5am Janelle and I are leaving for the Lake Huron Circle Tour! We'll be gone for 6 days and I expect to put around 2,200 miles on the Evo Tomorrow we'll be heading up through the UP of Michigan and spending the first night in Mackinaw City, MI.

Re: Lake Superior/Michigan/Huron Circle Tours

After 2,183 miles in 6 days, 3 states, 2 countries, lots of toll money, and countless tanks of gas we're back! It was a great trip with awesome adventures and the Evo performed flawlessly without a hiccup the entire way. The newly lowered seats were incredibly comfortable and never grew tiring. We averaged 25-30 MPG the entire trip and the car didn't even use a 1/4 quart of oil I'll get some pictures up later; Janelle took 400-some along with three videos including some rally action down a dirt road!

We took the S2000 in 2007, the WRX last year, and this year it was the Evo's turn which was the plan all along

This isn't exact, but its as close as I can get in Google Maps without spending hours figuring out all the tiny back roads we took.

Re: Lake Superior/Michigan/Huron Circle Tours

Michigan Holiday 92: crap
Michigan BP 93: good
Canada Shell V-Power 91: decent
Minnesota BP 91: never got on it
Minnesota BP 93: least amount of knock out out of all of these fuels

I'm guessing the MN BP 93 is slightly better than the MI BP 93 due to our 10% ethanol acting as a knock quench.

Eastern mainland Michigan - some lighthouse

Port Huron, MI (from our hotel)

Loading onto a ferry in Ontario to get to an island where we had a cabin for the night

From said cabin

On the island in Lake Huron

Canada is weird

Mackinaw City, MI hotel room balcony

Some beach on Lake Superior in the Michigan Upper Penninsula

XXX style

Keep on drinking (ran to EconoFoods at midnight to get this beast)

6 days worth of bugs (poor FMIC)
