Re: Car gathering tomorrow morning

I was there with some of the MN 3/S guys. They had a great turnout. Saw Andrew on the way out. If you want to see some of the most exotic cars in MN, this is the place to go. Wow.

later,
Curt

Maybe the reason I don't understand spending so much money on a garage in a place like that is because I ain't got no money.
That all works good in theory, but what if I don't want to buy a house?

Then you're anti-American. lmao, just kidding. I actually don't feel as strongly about it as I made it seem. I currently keep my car "off site" and usually work on it over there, so I am actually being a hypocrit.

Re: Car gathering tomorrow morning

Yeah, same here. The commute just to work on my car is a PITA, but I live in a condo that doesn't allow car work, nor storage of as many vehicles as I own I really like living in a condo, otherwise.

Its a man-resort more than anything! I think it would be great to have a garage away from home to get together with your friends, hang out, and wrench. Basically, its an adult clubhouse

Those garage units are pretty cool, but i'm guessing they get expensive if you get a decent sized one. They say you can get them for 40k though.
I thought that place was pretty nice. I don't think 40k is that bad either though. There were a lot of nice cars there and the place filled up quick.

Motorcycle cop pulls up next to me on UNI and says "Want to race?"
Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."
Cop says "probably not" and drives off.

Re: Car gathering tomorrow morning

I think 40k is for a 13' by like 20' unit. Pretty small.

Re: Car gathering tomorrow morning

A double-wide unit with a decent set of garage tools and a lift costs around $100k. Some of the larger/nicer units there, especially the ones with front and back garage doors (drive through) cost over $250k.

James, Were you south on 65 in Ham Lake/Blaine today? I was heading north and my gf was like "is that a viper?". I looked over and say a viper in gray and was like "that's James!"

I had mine through that area on Saturday. My brother has a house a little north of that area so you could see either of our cars going through that area. My brother's black convertible went through there yesterday, but mine was in the cities most of the day.
