where is the Raptor? It can't be that hard to punch some keys on a key board.

I am back and doing fine :bounce: Thanks for all the concern, I won't forget it, your all the best! I was in for bi-latteral pneumonia which just means it was in both lungs. As was mentioned by Ryan, I have CF "cystic fibrosis" which is genetic so after 35 years I am pretty used to it. It is normally no big deal for me, but I am prone to get things like pneumonia more often because of it. They put me on anti-biotics which is working well. This disease doesn't own me so I don't usually talk much about it, but if there is ever something you want to know just ask.
As Tom guessed, my computer was still bringing up the old site so I had to do a little adjusting to get it to bring this site up.
Thanks again for all you comments!

Glad your back Raptor. Has your doctor ever offered to give you the Pnuemo-vac shot? I had it about 6 years ago. It's a vaccine that helps you become immune to Pnuemonia.
Anyway we are all glad you're back to your good ol' cranky self, now get to work on that TB elbow! :razz2:

Thanks Jana!
Mike, I had that shot a few years ago, it just doesn't quite work with me. I will take care of that elbow ASAP for you. Thanks.

Thanks Kat!
As far as what CF is, I will give you the quick and simple version, it is obviously a lot more complex than this, but this should help. It is basically a genetic disease in which there is an extra protien in the blood that causes all kinds of problems. Like you mentioned, it makes you prone to getting other things like diabetes or pneumonia. It is the number 1 genetic killer, with about 30,000 new cases a year and an average life expectancy of 30. Most people who have it experience continuous breathing problems as well as being malnourished. It is the complications that tend to kill people though, due to the issues with breathing, the heart is weaker in some cases etc.
It is the same with anything else though, let it get to you and it will. Attitude is everything. It doesn't own me because I won't let it. Make sense?
