boost?

hey, was wondering if anyone knew how much boost the stock 450's can take with an scm61 lol, my 660's are clogged or broken, does anyone know how to clean and flow test them, basically, i am running wastegate pressure which is 7 or 8 pounds, and the turbo barely spools becuase it is so rich, so it makes me feel like i can run like 14?

Log it and see, it is the only way you will know. I would bet 10psi would be fine though.

Re: boost?

It depends on the power it is making and what you are using to tune it with. If you don't have the right supporting mods, an SCM61 won't make a lot of power anyways. I have had SCM61 cars in running 16-20psi that might have been able to get away with 450s, because their setups made less power than the average 16G guy. You will be able to get more out of 450s with DSMLink than with an SAFC.

Re: boost?

ya i tried putting my 660's in and it runs lean and idle, and i am guessing that is because one of them might be clogged with something,?
