Chris you bastard. Ha ha ha, nice play on words though, I fell straight for it. I got all confused when I saw the pictures of the Evo and thought, "How the hell can he afford a Evo and a kid and not a S2k?" I had to go read the other pages and now I get it... more pictures??

Whew, what a crazy trip. About 1320 miles and hughes is the proud new parent of a ~3200 pound baby boy/girl named Lance/Eva. It came with springs/exhaust, and some other nice goodies; I'll let him share the details, but it was sure fun to bomb around in! On the way back I hit 34.5mpg in anna's GLI and hughes hit 27mpg on one of the only tanks we actually measured.

This thing is really nice, and it will be fun to take to the next level! Hughes, when are you coming over so we can start modding this thing some more! I took a bunch of pics, just to stir up the pot here:

What a trip! Not only was that trip a ton of fun with the Scheides family I got a perfect Evo IX! This thing is seriously in perfect shape, there is not a ding or scratch on the car and the interior barely had a speck of dust in it! I'm really loving it so far, I think this was a great purchase! All of Scheides' pictures turned out great as always so I won't bother posting the few that I took. Please notice the white spooge stain in front of the Evo in one of the pics though...I couldn't help myself

The car is setup pretty well right now, but its of course going under the knife later this week Right now it has a Buschur Magnaflow turboback exhaust, intake, some other misc. crap, and Tein S-Tech springs. I am really happy with how the springs ride and how the car looks with the drop. I got it with about 10,700 miles from the original owner; she bought it in Oct. 2006.

Thanks again to Scheides and Anna for coming along, I know Janelle had fun shopping in Chicago with Anna!

Right now I'm trying to decide if I want to rebadge the rear or not. I was thinking if I do anything it will be a red Mitsu badge and a carbon fiber "Evolution IX"; possibly just the red badge....I don't know.
