Til you realize this guy, like many others, quotes their mileage as what the new engine has, not the chassis. This piece of crap has well over 100k on it according to Carfax. If you're going to get something old like this, you might as well just get another DSM.

Re: Time for a new car?
I can get G35's out the door for less than $22K if you want one of those.

Re: Time for a new car?
G35's are damn nice cars, I have test-driven them and really like them. It was my backup in case I decided not to get a S2k.

Re: Time for a new car?
I test drove the new civic and it is real nice. I also real good on gas 30 city and 38-40 highway. Plus it handle pretty good. Honda actually did something right for once. Now they just need to get there torque numbers up.

The new Civic is a great car (Motor Trend Car of the Year for a reason), I have test-driven these too. The Si is a great package for under $20k. I personally would choose a used G35 coupe over a Civic though unless the new w/warranty factor weighs heavily on your decision.

Re: Time for a new car?
A G35 coupe is my 1st choice for a new car. If I can find one that is in my price range that I like.

Not really, I, my family, and A LOT of close personal friends have had every type of euro car you can imagine. Since I'm the car guy, I hear all of it... But I knew someone or the other would not like my post, so thats why I added the part about the Consumer Reports. Its from test conducted by them, and by actual owners experiences, non biased facts. Check it out, may shock you.
Anyways, Andy the G35 is a nice car. What color are you looking for, or what does it take for you to like one?..

Re: Time for a new car?
Color, probably black or even white, but really anything but red or silver. Needs to be a MT and a good body I guess.

Re: Time for a new car?
If it's a G35, get black. The white is fake ass pearl white. Yuck.

Re: Time for a new car?
Brandon I agree that the S40 is a damn nice car. We had one as a rental in the states and there are still black marks in front of our building I don't think it has the looks Andy is looking for though.
I had thought of the IS300 the other night too, but fogot to say anything. They are really nice too.

Re: Time for a new car?
I was pricing out the 4-doors, the coupes are more expensive. They might fit that range with 50-70k miles though.
