NBA Dress Code

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200....ap/index.html

Some of these guys are just pissed they can't wear thier 20 inch spinner around their neck anymore.

This is why I hate NBA basketball more than any other sport I think. It's a change that's better for the image of the league and not so much the image of the 18 yr old kids getting 5 million to play a fucking game every year.

Re: NBA Dress Code

It only seems to be effective when they are doing something involving business. It's not like they are giving them a dresscode they need to obide by 24/7. Only while conducting business. They can still get all baller looking when they go out. I guess I don't see it as a big deal. I have to dress nice when I go to work, or when I have an event involving work. They are seriouslly upset that they have to look professional when at work, when they are making millions a year? Shit I'll wear a skirt and high heals to work everyday for a million bucks a year!

Re: NBA Dress Code

"I feel like if they want us to dress a certain way, they should pay for our clothes," he said. "It's just tough, man, knowing that all of a sudden you have to have a dress code out of nowhere. I don't think that's still going to help the image of the league at all."

It sounds like a lot of these players have the maturity and mentality of a 12 year old and the NBA has to treat them as such.

Re: NBA Dress Code

Don't all professional athletes have the mentality of a 12 year old?

Re: NBA Dress Code

I don't know why, but when i read this line i just started cracking up;
"Jackson, who is black" they have a picture of him right before this line as if people don't already know that he's black as hell.
