The 2G stud is smaller, 11MM. The biggest thing to remember is that it isn't really the torque spec that is the important thing, it is the amount of stretch the fastener ends up with and that is a direct result of the thread pitch and number of turns the nut takes on the stud. The torque spec is different because it requires different amounts of force to rotate the nut with various lubricants to get the correct number of turns on the nut making it stretch and have the proper holding capabilities. Thats why the factory specs torque and angle for a lot of the stock bolts, it is a more accurate method of getting the right stretch on the bolt.
