Re: Winter plans/mods 2011

Ok, I play. Next spring when it's feasible, I'm going to get it drivable enough to take to Colorado. The list of things to do would take forever to type, but the short version is reduce spool time with new parts, shorter intake piping, maybe new ball bearing CEA turbo of the same size, a stronger clutch for the time being, eventually t56. And repair all the little annoying things that I always ignored because it wasn't broken.

It's interesting to see the regulars in this thread. With life I haven't been caring about cars as much, but honestly, I'd rather sell my Evo 9 and get (WTF) a 1G again just to tinker with. Ya know, little shit, like Tial V-band turbine housings.

Re: Winter plans/mods 2011

Aaron, the last time it went down the track it was making 390whp and did a slow 13.2 at 115. Now it would be quicker with 450whp, but the clutch will die even more. It can't hold at all on the street at that level. I would love an 11 (a low 11 would be great). Need a clutch and some tires.
