The reasons i asked is because i've run into different forums that say to put it as close to the turbo as possible, to allow the new air on the system's pressure to bleed off. Most of the people who say that are also running a closed loop, so the route to the MAS is the shortest it can be.
I have also seen many people state that you put it as close to the FMIC on the cold side so that the air doesn't back flow or "Surge" back though the core. It acts as sort of a slow speed break on the air, so anything building up will exit and the air pre fmic will exit as soon as it enters the pipe system.
And, have seen as many people say as close to the throttle body, but never give a reason that made sense. It should, in theory work like the second mentioned reason, but at the end of the system preventing the air to have to travel back much at all.
Going to re-configure the bov location but it seems to not be working the way it should on the hot side of the piping.
