Re: what are you getting/giving for x-mas

I have no clue what I'm getting anyone yet. I've got one present for AJ and one small gift for my neice. I still have everyone on both sides of the family to shop for, and I feel like shit yet. Hopefully I start feeling better this week, or come Friday I'll just be getting gift cards for everyone.

I'm not giving enough and will hopefully get even less.

Re: what are you getting/giving for x-mas

I'm actually just about done with my shopping for the year, I just have to pick up one more small item for someone. I spent a lot this year though, definitely the most I've ever spend during single life.

I asked for a 911 TT, but I doubt I'll be getting that I asked for just a lot of basic everyday things though. The only "fun" stuff I asked for was a few exterior pieces for the S like black-chrome badges and smoked headlight diffusers.

I'm getting an mp3 player from my parents. I'm getting some random fishing stuff for my dad and brother, and for my mom I'm getting a can opener that hangs under a cabinet, and a few other kitchen things.

Re: what are you getting/giving for x-mas

I decided to keep it ultra-simple this year for Christmas shopping. I decided to shop for the family I live with, my dad and his girlfriend, the boyfriend and his family. So, I got my sister [Daughter of the family I live with] a sweet black and white Elvis calender she's been wanting and Pirates of the Carribean 2; I got my bro [Son of the family I live with] the guide book to some damn video game he plays and a gift card to Growth music store in Bloomington; I got their mother a gift card to Rainbow and a gift card to Barnes and Noble AND I'm getting her $5 worth of Power Ball tickets; I got my dad a frame that I hand painted with a picture of me taken during a practice photoshoot with Lindsey's Mom, a Walmart gift card and I'm making him a corn bag [I'll explain what those are in a minute] and I just made his girlfriend a corn bag too. I got Nick a frame that I also hand decorated and I still need to go get him a gift card to Bob's Cycle Supply and him and his whole family are getting corn bags as well.

Ok now to explain a corn bag. Basically, you get some fabric, whatever color or design the person likes and you sew it up into a little pillow looking thing and then inside you put dried corn. Then it goes in the microwave for 3 minutes and it warms up. Its great for cold nights or sore backs or whatever! I love them!

I have no idea what I'm getting, except I know my dad is giving me $200 and buying my school books, and I know my sister is getting me the Imogen Heap CD, but thats all I really know of.

Re: what are you getting/giving for x-mas

I am getting my dad a bookshelf stereo or a all in one printer/fax/copier/scanner. I got my friend Austin a Craftsman car jack. Might get my friend derek some sort of dipstick oil heater thing for his MS6. Still not sure what to get my friends jake and mike. Still not sure what I'm getting my mom. That's about all the people I shop for. So far what I've gotten for x-mas was a wireless mouse and keyboard from derek, my mom is getting me a programmable thermostat for the house, and I think my dad is getting me some computer speakers. And that's probably all I'll be getting for xmas.

Not getting people much this christmas and not expecting much this christmas. I already got my present for Christmas already. It is so far the best present I got in awhile. One more week left before Christmas and no money in the bank to buy anyone presents.

I got my brother an iPod hookup for his new deck, my dad is getting a pair of jeans and an Catherine McVee CD if I can find it, and my mom is getting some socks and a new calculator. I am going to get some of my buddies shot glasses from the U and I think I am just going to give a couple of my other buddies a bottle of SoCo or something.

All I know is my mom is getting me a new camera, which I am very stoked about.

I was outside of Madison on Monday so I stopped and picked up presents for a few people:

New Glarus brews are only available in Wisconsin and they are f'ing awesome, so I stocked up.

I'm not giving out anything too special... just some gift cards, and small little things. I got Traxxs RC truck. The electric one. I have a gas powered car last year. Then I bought myself a new celly phono. My real X-mas shopping will be in FEB-MAR when I start buying parts

Re: what are you getting/giving for x-mas

I got everyone in my family a digital picture frame and a CD full of pictures from holidays, events etc from the past few years. I also got a gift card for a nice restaurant so we can all go out and spend time together.

For my nephew and two nieces, I'm getting one of those Leap Frog learning video game things from Target. They're kind of expensive, so I'm just going to get one that can stay at my parents house for when the grandkids come over. I'm also getting some sleds so we can all go sleding sometime, if we ever get some real snow.

I got my my girlfriend a couple of CD's she's been wanting, and a picture frame to put a picture of us together in. I also got her some chip clips There's a story behind that; she thought it was funny. I also found/made a coupon for a free wheel bearing replacement at Mark's ABV garage She though that was funny too.

As far as what I'm getting from everyone else? I have no idea. Katie got me a calender (the show "the Office") and a nice pair of gloves, which I needed. I have no idea what my family is getting me though. Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be nice.

Merry Chris... err... oops, gotta be pc. Happy Holid.. awww fuck it, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!!!
