Hobbies?
Does anyone here have other hobbies, besides cars? Oh, and besides drinking. I, for example, was once into racing r/c cars at the twin cities hobby place off of brooklyn blvd, back in the day, the very few times i could make it there. Then, I got into helicopters, but sold that last year for car parts. Now, I sorta wished i hadn't sold it, because it'd be nice to have a hobby outside of cars. When you work on them all day long, the last thing you really wanna do is work on yours. Anyway, anyone else have hobbies that keep them sane?

Re: Hobbies?
If anyone can suggest a cheap hobbie that would be nice.
Masturbation doesn't count.

Re: Hobbies?
I spend too much time playing computer games. Other than that I'm getting back into bowling this fall after previously bowling for 12 years since I was 13. Hopefully can get back the 195 average I once had.
Other than that I've raced R/C cars (1/10 scale off road and dirt oval, and 1/4 scale paved oval) and flown R/C planes, still have two of them. Hopefully a new indoor track will open up in the Cities since Twin City Hobby closed their doors and I will start racing again.

Me and alot of my friends are into Urban Exploring, haven't been doing it too much lately though. I also used to be into rc racing, but got out of that a while ago.

Right on. Are you active in the local community at all or on any forums? Or just you and a few friends. If you're around much I probably know you, at least by sight or reputation anyway.

Re: Hobbies?
What r/cs do you have matt? I had 2 ft tc3s, with 15 spare bodies, chassis, blue aluminum shock towers, hubs, axles, etc etc etc. Also had a kinwald edition XXX buggy, with yellow rpm ball cups, titanium rods, bluw aluminum screws, hubs, etc etc.
For the helis, i have a buddies corona lite machines model 117, and my heli was a TT raptor 30 v2. I hope to get a 50 v2 sometime again, and fly again.

All of my cars and gear got stolen out of my car two years ago when I was living in St. Paul... Made for a nice Christmas for some thugs...
The two planes I have are an older Sig Kadet trainer, and a Quickie 500 pylon racer that has never been flown. I once owned a twin engine Pica Duelist, such an awesome plane. Two .40 engines with retractable gear, had it clocked at 100mph by a friendly sheriff who stopped by our field one day.

Re: Hobbies?
Lately my hobby has been all motorcycle stuff AMA updates, stunt videos, trying to find replacement parts, and looking at fuel-injection control modules, like”dynojet”. I still have my RC helicopters and RC truck, but the money has been diverted to my car and bike. My only other toy has been the mini crotch rocket.
The thing came with a 49CC 2.4 horse motor, with electric start and lights, well the motor took a shit so I pulled it off and put on a Honda 5 horse I had laying around and that’s about it.

Cars, motorcycles, jetskis, and of course DRINKING!
I'm also a finance nerd, I love crunching numbers and figuring out stuff for no particular reason at all.
