walbro 255 and 650/660cc group buy!

So I need a set of 650/660cc injectors and a walbro 255. I know this is a pretty popular setup so I was going to see if anybody wanted to try and set up a group buy. So post up if you need either of the two.

We usually have Walbro fuel pump kits instock and sometimes injectors. What kinds of prices are you looking for? There isn't much margin in items like those, unless you are an online retailer selling 100 of them a week.

I will be wanting a 190lph and some SAFC controllable injectors soon. I might be interested, but was thinking of just going used.

Fuel pumps really arn't that much. Especially if we can get a group buy. Just go new man.

Re: walbro 255 and 650/660cc group buy!

Ah, to clarify, I meant used on the injectors. Unless I see a 'used' but uninstalled pump or something similar I'll buy that new. They are too cheap to justify the risk.

I would like the 255, because you can go so much further with it, but the added expense of a FPR seems like a lot for extra flow I probably don't need.

Im in need, but might get a 190 instead. Im trying to set up a auto-X car. Also need either 550 or 660cc prolly 660 though. Hey Mr. 98GSX walbro pumps are right around 100 bucks give or take like $10 depends on who you get them from.

I'm addicted to modding and to me $100 isn't an expensive upgrade haha.. Do you need a FPR w/ a walbro 255?

I belive it helps when you are at idle..But thats about it. You would need one if you are just sawping out pumps and not using a SAFC or somthing like that.

Re: walbro 255 and 650/660cc group buy!

Don't know if I should start another thread on this, but now I'm curious about the 255.

Do you guys over run and it just doesn't cause problems? Do you not over run at all? Doesn't it make good tuning and consistent power more difficult?

Does it help the situation to use one of the cheap FPR's and turn up the base fuel pressure a little? ($40 is much better than $150+) I suppose it would be hard to tune with a SAFC and 660 on higher fuel pressure (out of the range of it, right?)

So far we got 5 people that want fp's and 4 people that want injectors (depending on the price).
