Pro-E is another one. That's what I use all day. What exactly do you mean by having a mold made? You can have protoype tooling made for much cheaper than a production tool, but you can only get shots in the thousands before the tool is worn out. Production tooling should be good for the hundreds of thousands or even millions of shots depending on how complicated the part is. But of course the cost is much, much higher. Vista is who we use for all of our SLA's and prototype work. We've used them for proto tooling as well, on some of our high dollar projects.
How big of a part are you looking at? Is it a pretty simple design overall? If you need help with anything, just let me know.
