Evo X concept - more info

I like the dual exhaust, but apparently the new evo will have the turbo mounted on the back of the block, a'la 1.8t. Anyone care to toss in how that will affect those quick gt35r swaps we are all so keen on doing?

Sounds like Intake Manifold sales will be up!

When I first saw that pic in my SCC mag, I didn't like it at all. Looks too much like an RX-8 from the back, and SRT-4 from the front. It's almost like they tried a little too hard for a new, aggressive look. Maybe it'll grow on me...

I don't understand why they would go away from such a sucessful design in the turbo in front, intake in rear engine style.

It never really made sense to me, especially with a turbo, and even moreso when it is going to be an advancement of an already existing turbo platform.

Yuck! I don't like it. I can see a mix of Acura TL, 4G Eclipse, SRT-4 and RX-8. Doesnt look like an evo anymore.

Oh no, it semi-resembles a half dozen other new cars, so what? It's still it's own unique design, and I think it looks great! I think you can take most new cars today, and find a bunch of small things that resemble some other car already in production if you look close enough into things

I like it, though in my opinion it takes away from the original Evo look. Still looks mean though.
