Real life Pirates. ARRRRRR
http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/africa...tes/index.html
8-12 "pirates" in 1 25 foot boats attacking a Cruise Liner. I think they needed bigger guns? Maybe they just wanted in on the golfing?

Re: Real life Pirates. ARRRRRR
One of my father's friends from work had a run in with pirates. M16s fixed the problem. I might go into detail if anyone cares.

Yea I saw that, that would not be a fun experience if you were on the cruise liner.

Re: Real life Pirates. ARRRRRR
I think that would add to the whoel experiance as long as the outcome is the same and you can go on with normal shit after a few hours cleaning up crappy rounds.
And I want to hear more about M16s fixing problems :-D

Re: Real life Pirates. ARRRRRR
Yeah, it seems that it is a problem in international waters, especially for people who have 1 person sail boats and like to travel around the world.

Re: Real life Pirates. ARRRRRR
^Very true^
My dad's friend has a 80ft sailboat. This dude and four friends were sailing somewhere. They saw four boats (20-30ft) coming at them from different directions. As the boats came closer, the men on the sailboat saw that the other guys had AKs and rifles. "Go below and bring up the AR15s" The Pirates turned back and these folks never had a problem later.
I think it's weird the pirates didn't come back at night. I would have thought to let the pirates come in closer. Then again, a AR15 is a poor weapon for this...

Re: Real life Pirates. ARRRRRR
Ok, now I have read the CNN thing. Somalis? What a freaking rip-off! There is no way I would do anything a Somali wanted me to. I'm pretty sure they don't know the pirate code. A pirate has to start off with "Avast!" and use "Yahar!" for every sentence. The Somalis I used to work with use "Um..." and "Yo, huh?". Just try to imagine that!

Re: Real life Pirates. ARRRRRR
Maybe they weren't pirates at all.
Maybe they were Islamic fundamentalists trying to hijack the cruiseboat.

Re: Real life Pirates. ARRRRRR
Yeah, that article pretty much proves that somalis suck at being pirates. They were outrun by a 440ft cruise ship? He even tried to ram them! I'm picturing a couple of upside down tin sheds full of refugees paddeling with rusty AK's and RPG's. I dont think they wanted to rob the ship so much as board it so they could emmigrate to another country.
It would have worked too, until Ahkmed and Jafar started shooting. It worked for that other group of Somalis, I think they just sank their own boat as soon as they saw a US Navy ship knowing they would be picked up.

Re: Real life Pirates. ARRRRRR
I saw this on the news tonight and started laughing! They showed a picture of these so-called "pirates" and it was pathetic! What a joke, buy a real boat and then attempt taking shit over...or start small.

Re: Real life Pirates. ARRRRRR
I'm just doing my part, here.
Anywho, I too saw these guy on the news. Who the fuch took the picture? They looked as fiece and menacing as the 3 year-old picka-chu that just trick-o-treated on by. Also, the person taking the shot was head level with them. Who would be at their height? (A few feet off of the water). This also begs the question; how did they plan on getting on deck of the liner?
Today is a good day, 11.1 on pump for the 3S!
