Does anyone know any good places to purchase floormates and possibly a car cover specifically made for my '92 Laser?

Thanks!

Re: Floor Mats & Car Cover

Well I ran across stockinteriors.com today and requested a few samples of the different floormat colors they have available. I'd still like to get ahold of a car cover for my Laser and found this: http://www.1aauto.com/1A/Car_Cover/Plymouth/Laser

I'm sure somebody has to own a car cover that they'd share their opinion on.

Re: Floor Mats & Car Cover

Bought a $20 one from Wal-Mart that was decent...size 3 (it recomends 2, but 3 fit a lot better).

I also have the one from walmart. It was for the integra but it fits the talon fine with the antenna off. I am using the cheap target floor mats for the winter (rubber ones).

Re: Floor Mats & Car Cover

If I would get floor mats again I would either go stock so they fit perfect or the ones that are made to fit perfect and have embroidery on them in whatever phrase you want... They are not OEM though, some other brand.

Ill try to look for them again.

I just spent like 40 bucks for some nice plush black ones at checker, they work ok but are not as form fitting and large as the stock ones.

Re: Floor Mats & Car Cover

Well I've received some free samples of the color choices stockinteriors.com has so next time I go home I'm going to decide which color matches my interior the best and order a set of floor mats. I also ordered a car cover from carcoversdirect.com which should hopefully be arriving within the next couple of days so next time I go home I'll get to see how well it fits. The one I picked out was $93.19 shipped.

Re: Floor Mats & Car Cover

You spent 100 bucks on a car cover?? Hmm little pricey for me for just a car cover. Tarps work to cover cars and Chris said walmart carries them for 20. Just my 2 cents... but its your car

Re: Floor Mats & Car Cover

My S car cover cost $229.00...glad I didn't pay for it. Covers do get much nicer the more you pay. The $20 ones are good for one winter, the one covering Reid's Conquest already has numerous tears in it as did the one I used for the Talon last year (no where near as big as Reid's tears, my cover is still usuable).

Doing it right on a car cover? I dunno about that, but whatever floats your boat.

Re: Floor Mats & Car Cover

Yeah I looked at ones ranging all the way from $30 up to $300 and decided to go middle of the road. I'll post up a review when I receive it and have a chance to place it on my car.

Re: Floor Mats & Car Cover

If your doing it "right" why not go all out on those car covers you drive your car into and then blow up. Its like a bubble so nothing can touch the car. To me a car cover does not protect from moisture or other elements becuase the undercarriage is all exposed and air can penetrate...

Unless this car will be parked in a garage... but then why not just get a few large sheets like I do and cover from dust?

Like Cher said... whatever floats your boat

Jeff Jamroz of Jeff's Custom Upholstery made me some custom Galant VR-4 mats. "Galant VR-4" is embroidered into them, it matches my factory carpet, fits perfectly, and has the nice rubber footed soles to stick in place. www.jeffscustom.com

The car is actually outside which is why I wanted a cover. Living on a gravel road back home, everything gets covered and dust and all kinds of shit. Plus we have a number of cats that love to crawl all over cars and granted my car isn't in it's prime physical appearance, I do not want claw scratches all over it. On the other hand the cats may start to claw the cover but I'm hoping they will stay away from it. I guess I'll be finding that out soon enough.

Jeff does great work, I live right up the block from him. I have known him for a while and his work is just top notch. I am having him do some mats and other accents and probably some seats this summer.

Do you happen to have any pictures available?
