My burrito has 38g of fat, and 1075 calories.

Wow.... I eat there almost once a week.

For 3 not that huge tacos that is a freaking load of calories fat and salt. You get almost more than your daily value in just a chipotle meal. I dont want to know the values of other real fast food or restuarants.

I like Chipotle just never knew there was so much calories, salt and fat from food that looks so good for you.

Heres what you should be getting DAILY:

Total Fat 65 grams (based on 30% of 2000 calories)

Saturated Fat 20 grams (based on 8% to 10% of 2000 calories)

Cholesterol 300 milligrams

Total Carbohydrate 300 milligrams (about 60% of 2000 calories)

Fiber 25 grams

Sodium 2400 milligrams

Potassium 3500 milligrams

Protein 50 grams (about 20% of 2000 calories)

Re: Chipotle is good for you

Very few people should actually be on a 2000 calorie diet. That is quite low. My guess is most of us should be around 2500-3000.

Re: Chipotle is good for you

I don't eat at Chipotle, but I do like Qdoba (same thing, less spicy). I usually get the "naked vegie bowl". It still had a lot of fat & salt, so I played around with my options. If you take out the "salsa", guacomole & black bean, it's has about half the fat & salt. The only thing, black beans actually contain the good fat that you would want to eat. They are actually a very healthy source of fat. So eat up & enjoy!

I'm with mike on this one. I eat a maximum of two meals per day - and thats rare. I need to cram down calories whenever possible. If a food is made to be healthy on purpose, I usually avoid it like the plague.
