Why I love ACE Hardware:

This at least applies to the AV store--maybe other locations are different.

1. The staff always exceeds expectations in customer service.
2. The prices are generally the same or cheaper. (vacuum hose is 1/3 the price of Checker!)
3. Last but not least, there's always cute young females at the checkout lanes.

Re: Why I love ACE Hardware:

The Ace in Owatonna always had cute girls working there, too... And everyone was always nice... Must be a trend.

I just went to ACE today, always have what i need, and usually cheaper.

Now for cute young girls.. nopers, not at Woodbury, old men and women with grey hair. Nice none the less.

Re: Why I love ACE Hardware:

I wonder if they focus really hard on customer service, or if they just hire good people, or what. It's like a different breed of people there.

Re: Why I love ACE Hardware:

Yeah, ACE does seem to do a very good job of hiring people. They have a nice mix of helpfulness and hottness.

Re: Why I love ACE Hardware:

Darn, no hot chicks at the one on Grand and Dale. But they do have very helpful people. They asked if I needed help just a few seconds right after I got in the store. Too bad they didnt have what I was looking for, none of the places I went to did. (large Lock-Nut washer...hard to find)

Re: Why I love ACE Hardware:

There's a hardware store in Maple Grove right by the Community Center. Not sure if it's ACE or someone else, it's been awhile. But they too have great service and hot, young, ripe little cashiers!!

Re: Why I love ACE Hardware:

John (Carlos) works at ACE in Hopkins. I will agree with the above comments besides the being cheap part. Menards will always be cheaper. Not as good of quality though.
