I'm sorry, doesn't apply to me, but I do have a dear friend who is a lesbian. And she doesn't run around looking to pick fights or throw it in everybody's face, "Hey look at me, I'm a girl and I fuck girls!"
That reporter had to go looking for a place outside her normal viewing area to find some obscure pizza joint out in the middle of nowhere to find a woman who said she probably wouldn't cater a gay wedding. Why? Because nobody ever uses her pizza place to cater any wedding, gay or straight.

Based on that logic, Jim Crow laws should be acceptable based on the fact that some white people know some black people who don't push back against the laws.

Geeez, are we living in the 1960's or something? Last time I checked it's 2015.
"Political Correctness" is destroying this country, AND YOU ARE WALKING, TALKING, LIVING PROOF OF IT.
In the real world, if you wanted a product (a big ol' cake for your gay wedding) you would just find a local baker who
a) doesn't give a shit personally either way about a guy wanting another guys dick in his ass and would be glad to offer his services
or
b) as demand for enough "dick in my ass cakes" grew, the market place would pick up on it and respond appropriately by having somebody invest their hard earned dollars into opening "Dick'n Da'Ass Bakery", "Where We Bake It So You Can Stake It".
Whick cake do you think would come out better, the one from the shop that was forced to bake it, or the shop that wanted to bake it?

Not really, your posts are too stupid to waste my time on. Please try to simply address the subject at hand next time instead of trying to somehow tie an irrelevant situation from 50 years ago. These two things have nothing in common, hence my comment.

The way you guys are stating things, as in businesses can refuse serving certain types of people is basically how it was back in the 1960s. How can you not see that? Mind boggle.
I dont think gay people will be lining up at a christian bakerys to make peen to peen cakes. Just not common sense. Also if a business wants to reject someone based on any of those things, it wouldnt be smart on their part if they want a successful business based on reviews, etc.
Equality is equality when it comes down to it, color, religion, sexual preference. People want your services, you should be happy to make a sale.
Its funny when Christians act like this, because overall that's not what Jesus taught people. What happened to not judging, being respectful to everyone. You know, the things Jesus carried out in his teachings? Im Catholic so I understand both sides, but when Christians go totally against that, its hypocritical.
Regardless of the law, this article clarifies that even with it in place now, there can still be legal trouble for businesses who refuse someone based on discrimination. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/0...n_6984156.html

But, you see, there is the problem of gays lining up at Christian Bakeries for the sole purpose of causing trouble. Like it or not, people do have a right to stand behind their religous beliefs when it comes to moral issues.
I don't see people lining up to close down those Muslim bakeries in the video I posted above. Why not?
Let the market take care of the problem if there is one.

I guess I haven't seen these protests against churches or businesses, they must not happen in my neighborhood. Where are you seeing any of this happen so often against businesses or bakerys?
I understand if its a radical case like that, but it seems like common sense on both sides. Sadly, common sense is not so common.

Ask a muslim, scientologist, or morman how it feels?
There isnt an attack on Christianity silly, theres an attack on ALL religions. Its due to the fact that you are a christian that you seem to think people are attacking your religion. What do you think a muslim feels when you have idiot right wing Christians calling them all terrorists. What do you think a morman thinks when people constantly associate their religion with polygamy, or a scientologist thinks when someone makes fun of their origin story.

^Totally agree. People just see what they want to see though. Christians have the least worries when it comes down to judgement by others imo. Muslims probably have it the worst at this point in time.

"Almighty God created the races white, black, yellow, malay and red, and he placed them on separate continents. And but for the interference with his arrangement there would be no cause for such marriages. The fact that he separated the races shows that he did not intend for the races to mix."
This is the reasoning Judge Leon M. Bazile used to convict the Loving's in 1959 for an inter-racial marriage. Justifying it through religion. Same reasoning, different decade. History repeats.
