Selling my 1995 AWD Mirage Coupe project
I'm getting to the point where this thing is causing me more headaches than I have time to deal with right now and I need something that can get me to work reliably. It runs and drives for the most part right now but I did a half ass job making a front motor mount and the engine twisting is causing the drivers side axle to pop out of its joint, caused me to be late to work twice and I don't have a backup car and can't be having this.
It has a 91 TSi awd rear subframe, could use better mounting on the front mounts IMO.
It has an auto out of the same TSi in it right now with an IPT converter, all it needs the Kiggly mod done, just been driving it around in 3rd because I haven't gotten around to doing it, I have the diodes and everything.
Motor was just rebuilt with Evo 8 pistons on bored out 6 bolt rods, ARP rods bolts and ARP head studs, 3" down pipe, running on AEM EMS v1 with a 3.5 bar map sensor with a base tune, FIC 850s, COP setup with 300m coils, oem external oil and transmission coolers, Walbro 255 in a dsm gas tank that's in the trunk because the stock one must be removed for the AWD stuff. The turbo in the pics has been sold.
AGX rear stuts, Blitz BOV, no intercooler currently because of a lack of room, has black 15" J30t rims on it now also.
It's wired correctly and temp gauge and wipers work, been driving around in FWD because I haven't figured out what needs to be done with the drive shaft so the Tcase is in the trunk, just throwing it up to see what I can get for it, with some work it is an easy 10 sec car even on just a 20g.
I have a few pics in a build thread on here, text 6512786390 with offers, cash is accepted also but I have alot of my time invested so don't super low ball me but I know its in need of alot more work also so I'm flexible. I also have alot of other parts for it also the could go with it, Kiggly front clutches, IPT end clutches, Translab shift kit, fuel cell with all the -8AN feed and -6AN return lines and a 300lph inline pump. Asking $1400 for everything, paid over $2k just for all the parts in it.
