Yeah, he is right. There is supposed to be a hose connecing hte two lines in the first picture along with some hose clamps to hold it on.
The second pic is the factory oil feed line hose on a 2g. You can either pull the plug out like you are supposed to or do something to try and cap it off. I was having problems finding a plug that will fit the hole so we went over to QPR nad had Mike weld the hole shut. Did this on two occasions. Works fine.
As far as the 2nd o2 sensor, why don't you just buy one? It may pop a CEL upon startup but all cars are different. It wouldnt hurt anything not having it in there though. Mitsu should stock them.
