I used to live in the Phoenix valley for a bunch of years. One June I picked up my car out of impuond where it had sat for like three months. The reason I finally spung for it was to drive it back to MN. The radio was stolen and the car didn't have AC.
Try driving in June with no AC, no radio, only $150 to make it (no hotels or food)and do it by yourself. Thats long. I hope you have a more pleasnt trip.
Speaking of Phoenix I am leaving 10am Tues for the Valley of the Sun and a wedding. See you guys next week.

I went from MN to TX, to GA, up to NYC (yes I've driven in downtown manhattan), to NY state, to OH to Chi Town to WI back to MN in two weeks, all in a ford escort wagon. :razz2:
you know you're on a road trip when you have to change your oil. Twice.

if i want, i could go through nebraska. I've gone that way before, go thru nebraska end up going through Denver. That way sucks though. Way too boring. And plus this way, I'm gunna hit up Phoenix my very last day, and Phoenix is on the way. Party like a rockstar there one last time and then drive hung over the rest of the 27 hours

Well I drove to New York in a 16 passenger van with a trailer on the back, it took us 29 hours because of the weather. Then on the way back we spun hit a concrete barrier and the car on the trailer had no damage at all. I'm sure you've all heard the story, well I was the one driving. It was great fun

Well I found out that I start my "long haul" on May 27th! I am officially detached from here on that date. I'll be taking off from here that day, and stopping in Phoenix. Spend that night and the next day with my mom there, and prolly spend that night partying my ass off one last time in Phoenix. Then soon as I wake up on the 29th, I will eat and whatever and then hit the road. Gunna stop in Amarillo, TX and meet up with my old roommate. Hang with him for prolly just an hour or so just to get a break from driving, and then hit the road again. I'll stop when I'm hungry or tired or when i have to poop. Other than those reasons, i shouldn't be stopping. Man it's gunna suck!
