Where to reference boost with rising rate fpr?

I'm going to be getting the aeromotive regulator probably, and I was wondering if I should connect the vacuum line before or after the throttle body? If it sees vacuum in the manifold vs. much less vacuum in the i/c piping will it get goofy? My old FPR was hooked up to the intake manifold after the TB and sometimes it would fluctuate the base level, I don't know if that was because of the regulator or the vac. source.

I just noticed someone else's fpr connected before the TB, and I remembered that a stock quest has it referencing before the TB.

Anyone know for sure?

It should be hooked up to the intake manifold where it will see vacuum and boost. You have to unplug the vacuum line from the FPR to actually check/set your base fuel pressure. The fuel pressure is supposed to change with different amounts of vacuum. There isn't vacuum on the i/c pipe side of the throttle bodt, so you don't want to use that as a source.

Why are you even changing FPRs?

New intake manifold, the other was a bolt on unit, and this is a sheet metal custom one with a different fuel rail. I need a remote one.
