Need to borrow Evo IX coils!
I know this isn't the right place, but it gets the most traffic, so i'm breaking the rules!

I need to throw some IX coils/wires on my car for 5 minutes to check of my issue is spark related. Anyone willing to meet me at my parents house in St. Louis Park, throw your coils on my car quick, see what happens, and then I can send you on your merry way with some beer?

Not sure about the coils, but the VIII and IX boots/wires are not interchangeable.

From everything ol' Google tells me, the 8 and 9 coils and wires are not interchangeable...

Coils are the same, boots/plug wires are different.

Bumping this for the overnight...

Seriously, I really need 5 minutes of someones time....I don't want to throw almost $300 at new coils and wires if thats not the issue and i can't afford for my car to be down another week.......

Mailed him my old coils/boots/wires this morning. The buyer of my IX came over last night for some tweaking so I asked him to bring them along.

Haha, Chris, you beat me to it...

Props to Chris and the new owner of his old car for coming through for me by mailing me coils and wires form Texas! Hopefully the USPS puts these on its fastest horse so they get here soon!
