Trophies at Dyno Days --Please Vote!!!
I'm trying to decide if I should axe giving away trophies at dyno days. I usually end up spending about $80 on them per event, and it donned on me that I could give away cash or gift certificates instead, which might be more greatly appreciated. Basically I'd be looking at giving away $50 for the high dyno number, and $15-20 each for the pull-off champs.
The main drawback I see is that vendor's names don't end up landing on that trophy. The advantage is that then the money would be spent back in vendor shops (if I did the gift certificate thing).
Please weigh in!

Re: Trophies at Dyno Days
Vendors gift cards, we get a discount and they get business, not like we are only gonna stop at the gift card amount.
And for the noobs to the vendors it will generate repeat business!!!
Just get bigger T-shirts please.

That may be so, but trophies can't buy hookers!

I say definitely no cash, but a gift certificate to the shop hosting the dyno day would be a cool idea.

Agreed. I could use the financial assistance for my tune.

But wouldnt most people that Dyno high numbers probably not need gift certificates as much? I think trophies are nice to have and use as bragging rights

Re: Trophies at Dyno Days --Please Vote!!!
I say gift certs to keep the money local and help out the local vendors that help us on a regular basis. Just dont do any GCs from slowboy, i dont think you will get them in time for the dyno day. LOL

I voted for gift certificates, but the only downside I see is people selling them later.
