Re: Why you replace 3 bolt rear ends...
I had a 3 bolt in my car at 530awhp, I tried hard to break it but failed. 6000 rpm stuter box launches every weekend, I even did some shitties on dry payvment. That thing just took the abuse. Now, I upgraded with a 4bolt auto in the 3 bolt housing with 3 bolt gears. Still no breakage. I have my old 3 bolt axles if you want them there yours.

Re: Why you replace 3 bolt rear ends...
My 3 bolt has about 200+ 6K rpm launches on it and still holding strong.
I know one day I will end up blowing it up

Re: Why you replace 3 bolt rear ends...
I have a 4 bolt in my basement with axles and cups, Just waiting for this one to break. How did you guys do that many launches with out breaking one is beyond me, last AWD I had I broke the 3 bolt first launch with a ACT 2100 in it. Heh, I was expecting it to fail sooner or later.

Re: Why you replace 3 bolt rear ends...
lol, first your pinion shaft then you snap an axle? Your drivetrain does NOT like you!

If you saw the abuse it has seen, You probably wouldn't either. I consider it shake down testing for finding weak drive-train components before track time.
