Made a sweet purchase!

I have been real busy and not on here as much as I usually am and just thought I would let everyone know that I got engaged a few months ago and just bought a house last week. It is up north more compared to most of you but it is in northern Elk River/Southern Zimmerman. It was a forclosure and took for ever to actually move in but all went well. It is 2310 sq ft with 4 bedroom, 2 full bath, wet bar, and is a 4 level side by side. It also has an attached 2 car and the best part, a detached 26x30 shop on 4 acres. It is all ready to be heated and is even piped and wired for one but I have some work to do before I move stuff in there.

So far since last Thursday I have put in all new wood floors in the kitchen, dining room and entry way. I also just got done putting new tile in the upper bath and am now installing new carpet in the entire up stairs. I have photos and will get them posted sometime once I actually get the net at my house hooked up.

I will update with renovations as I go and there will be plenty of them.

Figured I would throw up a few photos of the house and of what I have done here so far.

Here is a few of the exterior.

The roof is real bad and I will be putting a new one on this weekend.

Here is the best part!

This is MY seperate garage! It is a 26x30 detached and needs some work but it is a start. I will be tearing all of the wood down and sheetrocking it all with plenty of insulation.

This is the interior that I have redone so far. This is the upstairs with the new carpet.

This is the new tile in the up stairs bathroom. Turned out almost perfect for doing it myself.

This is the new wood floor that I put in the entry, dining room, and kitchen.

More to come.

Well 3 days of 13 hours each day has hit me and sill have not finished the roof yet. Will have photos up once completed.

Hope you got a deal on it. There are many deals out there right now. I am surprised on how bad the roof is as the house can't be too old. We sold our project house last week and will likely be buying 2-3 more with the funds we got from it. One offer was accepted and we expect another bank to take an offer within the next few days. One was just pit in on Friday. The third would be a little different and would be something we have never done before. Don't want to go into details on the ones we have offers in on as some are still pending.
