I'm Back!

Man that felt good! 3 long days filled with NO computers, NO TVs, and gas stations that sold every hillbilly soda and beer you coudl think off where all the normal shit would be sold here.

I was down in Salem Missouri for the weekend Helping Eric Olson (520Talon) on here with the Club Rally event. Ryan Johnson (Rhino) was also there as his fill in co-driver and me and George from Georgeio/S3 Performance/Hammerbeck industries was the 4th man down there.

It was a fucking blast. Eric finished the firts day strong with a good car and on some bad luck with blowing 2 tires on transit form stage to stage. Still finished the Event though. Saturday he made it to the first service with a car nto running very well and not holding boost. Those 2 didn't matter as from stage 3 to 4 transit he lost the tranny and only had 1st gear.

Overall great time, shitty road for a full sixe van, but some awesome roads for anyone who loves to drive hills and valleys. The Mark Twain Nat Forest is big time fun there. I will have pics up soon.

Hopefully we will have vid of Eric getting the Talon off the trailor. He was going to hook 1 end of a rope to the tow hook on the car and tie the other around a big ass tree and drive forward making the tree yank the car off the trailor. Now that would fucking rule! lol

Oh yeah, Missouri has some SMOKING deals on fireworks, but being a law abiding man I didn't buy and transport anything across state line.

I've got to thank Allen for all of his help and to Ryan (Rhino) for an excelent job co-driving and amazing tire changing skills.

I ended up having to bring the car to the S Three shop and have a truck pull it off the trailer. The tranny was all bound up and it wouldn't roll even with the clutch in. I had to pull the driveshaft and t case, push it back on the trailer and then roll it off back into the garage.

I think the cat might be plugged from some old leaded gas causing the 10 psi only problem. I'm going to pull it this week and check it out.

I've got some in car video I will try to make availible if anyone whats to see it. It is on DV tape and I think I can load it on the computer. I'll have to read the manual.

Allen, I also have some video that George shot of you driving from the passanger footwell angle.

I am going to have Jana look into a outside camera for you as well. I think she was doing this for Mark and it may be real cheap or free. But ma be a good idea for your car and George for Ojibwe
