N/T vs. turbo fuel pumps

The fuel pump is going out in my n/t daily driver, and I was wondering if I could just steal the pump out of my TSi, seeing as it needs an upgrade anyways. So does anyone know if the fuel pumps are the same in both n/t and turbo 1gs?

I'm guessing not, but I figured its worth a try if I can save myself some money...

Haha thanks, but I don't need another fuel pump.

Would a turbo pump work in a non-turbo?

pump itself will work. sending unit is different.

Do you know if the sending unit can just be switched over?
