Re: S2k powa!! or is it??
They've done that to a few S2k's down there in FL. Seems retarded if you ask me.

Re: S2k powa!! or is it??
Nah, for a motor swapped S2K its just about the only option in my opinion. Unlike a lot of things it makes power, isnt too heavy, and sounds decent.
Adapting it to the stock trans and rear end though...thats a whole other issue.

Re: S2k powa!! or is it??
My roomate is actually considering sending his s2k to these guys for them to do the swap in his car. He is thinking in 2008 he will do it. I showed him this video a couple weeks ago.
Its not only a walkaround they do a pull as well on only 9psi and that thing is nasty.

Re: S2k powa!! or is it??
How do they get this thing bolted to the stock trans? Is it even good enough to handle as much power as will be thrown at it? And what kind of rear end will be small enough to fit under the back of that thing and still handle as much torque as will be thrown at it?

Re: S2k powa!! or is it??
I believe they talked about using a nissan silvia rear end. A rear mutt car in the end...

Re: S2k powa!! or is it??
For a 2JZ I expected the car to pull much harder. Good ideal but the guys sounds like they are unsure if the car will hold up. For the rear end they should look toward Ford or Chevy.

Yes. They are using a 240sx rearend in it. Then they will turn it up. I think they should figure out how much hp that S2k rearend can hold first. Granted the 2jz is crazy as is. But eh...what a good thought to drop that in the car. It kinda opens up an idea for a RB to slip in there.

The car is only pushing 9psi right now. But once its pushing 30psi im sure it will pull MUCH harder.
