New Years Plans!
So what are people planning for New Years? I know we have already talked to some about hosting a party at our place. There are some pros to doing it at our plans if we have music and shit and that is we don't have people around to bitch and complain about noise (we are those people).
But it is a ways out for some (So they say) and it's smaller which can be a problem for larger groups.
But to solve this it would take much to insulate the attached garage a bit and run a few heaters in it.
Outside of that I just thought we'd bring it up and see what people say. I'd liek to do something outside of being downtown myself. That can be kinda crazy, but I'm open to other ideas and locations for those who want to put something together.
BTW, the "Drink recomendation" thread got me thirsty for starting this one. The Fruit Bowl is in FULL MINDSET!

Re: New Years Plans!
I'd be up for coming out to your place for a New Years party. We could also look into reserving the party room at our apt which has a full kitchen, sound system, and big-screen.

Re: New Years Plans!
What's the party room surrounded by? If we have anyone underage it would be best to have a place where cops won't be a big issue because of noice complaints.
I want what will work best for a variety of groups, but most of all I want FUN! I want hats and horns and drunken games and shit. If all goes well, I'll be puking by 3am!

Re: New Years Plans!
Hmmm, lets go with your house I think. We'll get the party-room in the spring once the weather gets nice since it includes a grill and the pool.

Re: New Years Plans!
We need to work on the "single" girl to guy ratio as well. LOL

This is true, we better go down hardcore style with kegs, whops, etc.

Re: New Years Plans!
Shit, maybe this should be on the private side. j/k
You know what... a makeshift dancefloor in the gargae isn't a bad idea when we think about it.
Seriously, we coudl plan this out pretty good, probably charge a little and have shots and some drinks on hand?
If only we could get mark to bring the Beer Fridge out. LMFAO!

Re: New Years Plans!
I think your guy's house is a tad small for a "big" party. I would suggest the party room.
Also remember, you can charge a cover, but not for glasses (keg for an example).

Re: New Years Plans!
A big party wont fit in the party room either, and for certain people to drink it might not work...
Allans place should work but it will get rowdy with alot of people. Have to figure it all out.

Re: New Years Plans!
I'd offer to host, but my living area is only slightly bigger than Allan and Jana's and I just rent here, my roommate owns the house. Otherwise I'm open for anything.

Re: New Years Plans!
Ya, I think just a decent sized group, like what we have at our summer parties, would be good. We could get a couple kegs, charge people like 5 bucks for a cup, and that would work out I think. But ya disrespecting the house doesn't fly. It's not a club, it's someones home. And far as a dance floor, I don't think you need to make a dance floor. Just have some music bumping. And if people feel like dancing, they will find a spot to dance. I bet if you went all out on some sorta dance floor, it wouldn't really get used much and you'd be upset that you spent whatever time and effort you put into it.
And if for some reason you guys feel that your place won't work out, we can always change the location to Blaine!

Re: New Years Plans!
I dont' think either place woudl be too small, just accomodate as needed. And at our place that's opening up the garage and cleaning shit out.
Brandons place might work just as easy, but I can't remember if yoru neighbors where still calling the cops or not. That's a big thing with some of our freinds, and we have some neighbors who woudl probably end up just coming over for drinks if they knew a party was going on.
Too bad we couldn't get some industrial building to throw a shin dig in... Swanny, get keys to an open spot and lets do this! LOL.
I don't think we'd have a problem with disrespecting others places. I think many learned what's too much from Brandons and we would put lots of shit away.
Also, we can have a beer pong touneyment all night long in the garage as well as needed if we nix the dancing out there.

The only problem would be liability and underage drinking and such.
What about brian? (1quick4)

Re: New Years Plans!
Neighbors only called the cops at Brandons because the grill was thrown in the road and the fence fell over somehow. lol
