Schell Brewery Tour?
I've been on a Schell's binge lately. I just can't get enough of it! Would anybody be interested in doing a brewery tour? It's first come first serve and sounds like they sell out of tickets pretty fast. But if we planned it far out enough we could cruise down there early to make sure we all get tickets for the same tour.
Private tours are $60 for groups of 20 and under. Otherwise if we just walk up and buy tickets individually they're $3.
I mean come on, free beer afterwards too?

Re: Schell Brewery Tour?
Awesome tour! We did this a few years ago as a 'Style cruise. A group of us also went down for Bockfest in February two years ago.

Re: Schell Brewery Tour?
It was a great tour and cruise. I know a few of us should have not been driving home that after noon.

Also bock fest was a blast. Drinking out of pitchers all day long. The only down side to it was Aly falling down the stairs with our food but she did save her glass mug.

Re: Schell Brewery Tour?
I've never been on a brewery tour before! I told myself I'd do it as soon as I could when I turned 21....Two years later, still haven't seen the inside of a brewery before!
This definitely seems like a summer event! Well as the warm weather nears we'll have to get this finalized

I did the Schell tour 15 yrs ago so I don't really remember it. I was dating someone that lived next door to the place.
I did the Heineken tour in Amsterdam a few years back, that was a good time.

Ahhh the copper kettle. Basically you go see it and then start drinking. Sit next to people who don't like dark beer is my advice!!

It was great. They basically charged enough to cover the cost of the beer.

Re: Schell Brewery Tour?
^^haha I've always wanted to see how it's all done. I like seeing people's micro-breweries they have set up in their garages.

Re: Schell Brewery Tour?
Cuz if they don't like dark beer and you do, then that's more beer for you.

i'm so dumb sometimes. I'm not a huge fan dark beers. But sometimes a Killian's is all you need.
Grain Belt is probably my favorite beer. Goes good with anything!
