Act 2600 V.s. 2100

So, i duked it out today with a Maxima (walked him) unfortunately it will be the last battle this clutch will ever see... The car was lucky to make it home, and since then I have been in search for the best deals on labor and clutch which brings me to question number one:
Who runs the 2100? testimonials would be great, Who runs the 2600? the more you opinions you give the more justified the purchase of the clutch will be for me.. Next up:
Is the kit for the AWD, FWD and n/a lasers all the same?? I ask because this joker is selling a new in the box 2100 for $130 all he says is can be used on DOHC laser? So, does that mean turbo??

Id say 2600 if your ever gonna upgrade anything on the car. Just dont complain about pedal pressures as its not that bad.

Again we come to the timely story on what you want out of your car. Do you want 11s next fall? Mid 13s as a daily driver? What's you mod list 1 year from now in your head. ( IN REALITY )

A clutch puts your power to the ground. It's the link that connects the power and the road when you want to beat up on maximas, or go get some food at 3am on a sunday night. Why fuck around and risk getting hosed on a deal that sounds too good to be true.

i been lookin around called a few places QPR and Elite seem to be in the rankings for where to get the clutch they want about $390 for the 2600 has anyone out there found a better deal? if so you should shout a broke ass teenager a holla! As for the other brand you guys had mentioned (south bend i think) whats their site? whats the choice from that brand? What do their prices run?

I'm really leaning towards SBC from reading about how smoot and light they feel. Only bad thing that I've read is that they have a long break-in period.

500 miles of normal street driving is a standard break-in for clutches.

I have an Exedy 1900lb clutch with an organic disk. Only got 600 miles and one launch on it but it seems to be doing ok. We will see though.

The 2100 is good to about 280 whp, after that I would step up to the 2600 or try one of the other clutches. I loved my 2100 in my first DSM. Felt like stock and held good enough for low 13's.

I would say that if you ever plan on upgrading the turbo, go with a 2600.

mine? its 99

every heard of feramic?? theres 2 options for the clutch,
either it uses a stock pp, or you can use it with a 2100 pound pp.
theres guys running mid 11's pass after pass, with almost stock pedal feel.
the only place i know that carries it is ams, automotosports.com

On the other hand my 1900 held nicely. Even on the 6K launch. Didn't smell it once. It is only 1,000 miles old though.

John's 2100 that he had in the galant sucked too. I think 2100's are the biggest pices of :censored: :censored: ever made. On the other hand if you were slipping it a lot it might be glazed.
