So I last night I got pulled over and ALMOST got fucked. Here's the story:

My boyfriend and I were at this park that doesn't close till 11. Well at 10:30 we get ready to leave and we are pulling out when a cop rolls in. Mind you, we are already leaving before the cop even pulled in. So the cop whips a bitch and follows me onto the main road, and as soon as I get on the main road he pulls me over. Keep in mind he had no reason to pull me over; both me and my boyfriend had seat belts on, I wasn't speeding, my tabs and plates are for sure not expired, my tint is legal, and my subs were off. So he comes up to me and I had been digging in my back seat looking for my wallet which is no where to be found and he's like "what are you digging for back there?" I'm like oh god, he thinks I'm heading my crack or something.. So very politely I tell him "I'm looking for my liscense, it seems to have fallen out of my purse." Well he takes my name and starts looking around my car, asking me what things are, you know, cop stuff. Well my boyfriend goes [POLITELY] "Excuse me officer but, why did she get pulled over?" He, being a dick, goes "Her tabs are expired, is that ok with you?" At this point I was like OH HELL NO, because the other day I had looked at them just to make sure they weren't expired, and they say July of 2006. I was pissed, so I was like, "Are you sure, because I could have sworn they said '06" and he was like "Well my computer said they were expired, But I'll check" So he goes back to his damn computer, checks them, they say they are expired, but when he looks at my car, WHAT DO YOU KNOW?!? They say '06. WTF. So I showed him the paper's that say we paid for them and he's like "Well, it might not have registered into the system yet." I was like uhhhhh We paid for them in July, genius. Then he's like "So is your liscense not on you?" At this point I had figured out it wasn't, and neither was my insurance because I hadn't had a chance to put the other card in my glove box yet. So I told him it wasn't and he looked me up in the computer, which showed that I did, in fact, have a liscense. So he let me go. I was pissed off, I didn't see why he pulled me over, when clearly my tabs said '06.

So then today I had to go to the DMV to tranfer the title on my winter car. I had done the math and figured it was only going to cost me $19.50. WRONG. The bitch wanted to charge me $70. That I could not figure out. I was pissed and didn't have that kind of money with me so i was like uhh, I'll do that some other time. Then I explained to her what happened with the cop and showed her the paper that I showed the cop and she basically told me the cop was just trying to fuck me over for something because he could have gone to one more screen on his damn computer and it would have told him I payed for the tabs and they weren't expired, it just wasn't in the system. He didn't have to pull me over in the first place, or accuse me of anything.

Moral of the story: Why buy tabs? Either way the cops are going to try to fuck you over.

I have noticed TONS of cars here with expired plates.

Stop going to parks late at night.

The last time I was pulled over, it was almost like a full felony arrest on the ground and Searched got to love Minneapolis PD. The cop told me that he could take me to jail because, I had a video camera, handcuffs, flashlight and FRS radios. I was told that, I was a pervert for having that stuff and that I was into voyeurism, I told the cop that I was going up north to the cabin for the weekend. I had no excuse for the handcuffs and he confiscated them. No ticket, and he let me off with a warning for speeding (4 over).

That is shitty, but yeah I don't get why people even go to parks late at night... my briother is a cop and he always has interesting stories to tell me about dumbasses that get caught messin' around late at night when the parks are closed. Do people not realized cops patrol parks?

NExt time go to the park late at night with some hot (girl) friend of yours. If some cops pulls you over get down to bra and panties. He'll leave you alone or you'll make some money. Ditch the bf, he's the root of all your problems.

hey i saw you right after that happened in AV, atleast you didnt get a ticket so you dont have to take time to go correct the issue so i guess you should just be glad for that

That is rediculous, I haven't been pulled over yet in my driving career but if its for a reason like that I will probably end up in the back of the squad car becuase I would be pissed.

Its most likely because of your car that stands out and yea your boyfriend didnt help. haha.

Totally almost took the crying approach, but this guy was a dick so I figured it wouldn't work. DAAAAMIT.

I know it had a lot to do with my car. I'd been pulled over a while back for not using my turn signal, and when the cop came to my car and saw who was driving it, he laughed!! He's like, "Well, I think I shouldn't have pulled you over really. I saw a different guy in a Buick do the same thing and I didn't even bother. I guess I pulled you over because of your car." I was like WTF who says that?!

Kevin: The park wasn't closed. We got there at like 10:30, left at like 10:45, and the park didn't close till 11. We weren't even doing anything illegal at the park, just looking at people's old senior pics. We go there because if we go sit at Oasis or McDonalds we are either invaded by a bunch of druggie freaks or kicked out by the cops. The Park wasn't closed so technically if we were sitting in the park, the cop couldn't kick us out. It's logical really.

Oh and yah.. I do look menacing. What with all my muscles, how tall I am. Oh ya. I'm deffinately dangerous! haha, pfft. I bet if I had been driving my winter car, he wouldn't have pulled me over, and those tabs really are expired, haha!

When I turned 16 my first car was a '67 Camaro. Within a couple of months it went from being a nice, quiet, smooth 327/Powerglide to a 408/TH350 that would shake buildings. I never really got pulled over because it was loud, I got pulled over a few months later when I started doing body work on the car. I drove it for a while in primer and I got pulled over AT LEAST once a week. No tickets, just pulled over. I had one officer pull me over, ask me for my proof of insurance, walk back to his car and just drive off without saying a word. Profiling is definately not dead. After painting the car I didn't pulled over for anything for more than a year. I have still to this day never gotten a ticket in that car.

Thats messed up right there. My friend has the same problem. He's got a '84 Cutlass with switches and he gets pulled over all the time for no reason. In fact he got pulled over one time, the cop walks up to the driver door and says " I was expecting a ****** to be driving this car."

See what I mean. Bull shit. I know cops are USUALLY just trying to do their job, but still. It gets ridiculous when people are getting pulled over due to the car they are driving.
