Stage 3R Upgrade Kit Feature Description
Mopar TD05HR Turbocharger. The Stage 3R kit uses a D05HR-15GK2-10cm2 turbo. The compressor and turbine are larger than the production turbo to produce higher power more efficiently.
Ti-Al Turbine Wheel. The Mopar TD05HR Turbocharger employs a low maxss Titanium Aluminide (Ti-Al) turbine wheel that has less rotational inertia. Less inertia results in better turbocharger response.
Increased WOT and Part Throttle Boost. To develop the impressive peak power and peak torque for the Stage 3R package, the boost pressures have been optimized for wide-open throttle (WOT) conditions. The boost was also recalibrated for part throttle conditions to enhance the drivability.
Boost Hold Feature During WOT Shifts. Keep the pedal to the metal, blip the clutch, and grab the next gear. Do it fast enough before redline, and your reward will be a zero-lag, constant boost shift.
More Aggressive Exhaust Note During Deceleration. More of the Mopar signature pops, snaps, and burbles during closed throttle deceleration and between shifts.
Optimized Calibration for the Mopar Performance Blow-Off Valve (sold separately). The Stage 3R kit has improved the functionality and the audible performance of the integrated recirculation valve with the BOV Conversion Kit in mind.
Increased Rev. Limit. The Stage 3R calibration increases the engine redline from 6240 RPM to 6500 RPM

SRT-4 Engine Performance Chart
SRT-4 Stage 3R * 325 ft-lb @ 3200-4800 rpm * 310 hp @ 5600 rpm

Stage 3R High Octane * 365 ft-lb @ 3200-4800 rpm * 355 hp @ 5200 rpm
NOTE: ALL RATINGS ARE WITH CAT-BACK SYSTEM P4510461

MOPAR PERFORMANCE PARTS ARE SOLD "AS IS", WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY WHATSOEVER.

Implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded. The entire risk as to quality and performance of such parts is with the buyer. Should such parts prove defective following their purchase, the buyer and not the manufacturer, distributor or retailer, assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repair. Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles and parts warranties are voided if the vehicle or parts are used for competition or if they fail as a result of modification.

SPECIAL NOTE:
P0633 Fault Code Explanation
It is normal for the Mopar Turbo Upgrade Kits to set the P0633 fault code. This code will not activate the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light), but it will be displayed during a diagnostic check. The vehicle funcionality or performance will not be effected as a result of this code.

Fuel Line Resonance Explantaion
It is normal for the Mopar Stage 3R Turbo Upgrade Kit to exhibit fuel line pulsation resonance at idle and low engine loads. This condition is characterized by an audible "tapping" noise emanating from the fuel system, particularly in the area of the fuelline leading from the firewall to the inlet of the demand regulated fuel rail. This condition is normal and is generated by the fuel pressure regulation system at low injector pulse widths. Vehicle functionality and/or performance will not be affected as a result of this condition.
Not legal for use on Pollution-controlled vehicles or vehicles registered for highway use.

NOTE: MOPAR PERFORMANCE PARTS RECOMMENDS PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION BY AN ASE CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN. A VEHICLE HOIST, TELESCOPING TRANSMISSION JACK, TORQUE WRENCHES AND SPECIALIZED REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION TOOLS ARE REQUIRED. VEHICLE SERVICE MANUALS HAVE BEEN PROVIDED AND ARE REFERENCED EXTENSIVELY DURING THE INSTALATION PROCEDURE. REFER TO SECTION 0 (STANDARD PROCEDURE - HOISTING RECOMMENDATIONS) FOR VEHICLE LIFTING INFORMATION, AND REFER TO THE FRONT OF EACH SECTION FOR SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS. VEHICLE SERVICE MANUAL INCLUDED ON CD ROM!!!

__________________________________________________ ________________

After this is the insallation manual which constantly refers to procedures in the service manual that is provided on CD rom. I could not include the images that we also got, due to the poor image printing of a fax machine.

We did some more digging and came up with a little more tid-bit information.

Q. Stage 3 or Stage 3R?
A. Stage 3 has been changed to Stage 3R due to it exceeding the expactations originally designed for.

Q. How many different kit's will there be?
A. There will only be 3 kits made available. There will be the Stage 3R w/Toys, Stage 3R w/o Toys, and the Stage 3R upgrade from Stage 2. No other kits are on the drawing board and it has been decided that no others are to be designed.

Q. Cat-Delete pipe, is it included or required?
A. The Cat-delete pipe is not included, and is not required. The Stage 3R kit was designed to work with this pipe for more performance under competition condititions.

Q. What about replacement parts, will they become available?
A. Yes, we are going to release the replacement parts as well as a few other options. We are not going to do this until a certain number of Stage 3R kits have been shipped, we do not want to take a chance of depleating inventory levels to early, or we will have another mess on our hands.

Q. When do you expect the Stage 3R to be released?
A. We expect to have the Stage 3R ready for ording in the 3rd week of October, but no later than the 4th week. We are currently waiting on the service manuals being burned to CD's to add to the kits.

Q. Ok, we all want to know, How Much?
A. We have been working frantically on this ourselves. We want this to remain an affordable upgrade for the Sport Compact market, so we have been running some formulas together. We don't have a fixed price yet, but a ballpark, and I mean ballpark, price for the upgrade kit should MSRP at or under $3000.00. We are still trying to come up with the ballpark figure for the full blown kit with and without toys.

That is all the information that we could dig up today, and I must stress that this is piliminary information, and is subject to change. I do have an excellent feeling regarding the source of this info, and it's validity, however I must state it may, or may not change.

Thank You, and sorry about the lengthy post.

Rich is also working on it 24/7
These hp numbers are on a stock SRT with this kit, through 2.5 inch exhaust and cat, stock intake, and FMIC.

I dont see why this kit wouldnt do 400whp easy and reliably with better exhaust and FMIC.
Yes this is the same kit on the Light weight SRT

Ha, so it is too noisy during decel, so they write it up as a feature.

The boost hold would be nice. Rich needs that with how laggy the car is and the total lack of rpm range. Rich really just needs a standalone. Fighting the crappy stage 1 ECU is the biggest problem.

Motorcycle cop pulls up next to me on UNI and says "Want to race?"
Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."
Cop says "probably not" and drives off.
