I have owned 3 of the money pits...

1st - 95 Eclipse GSX (Auto) - Died in a near head-on accident with an off duty cop. (100% his fault)

2nd - 97 Eclipse GST (Manual) - Returned the damn thing about a week after I bought it.

3rd - 92 Talon TSi AWD (Manual) - Bought it with 42k on it. Has some mods, just added more. Should be on the street this weekend, but I am scared of the curse that is going around. My favorite DSM I have owned.

Lets see....

91 Talon AWD 5 spd, I still own this one after 10 years, although I hit a deer 2 years ago with it an totalled it with 109k on it and I bought it with 32k on it. It had never seen winter.

92 Talon AWD 5 spd, was a project car mainly. The water pump went out and now it is a bigger project car, still own it.

92 Talon AWD 5 spd, my silver car that I still love! This is the fast, but dead one. Bought with 67k, not it's 87k.

90 Laser FWD 5 spd fun DD, but the FWD got old after 2 weeks, sold to JoeM

92 Talon AWD 5 spd (see a trend?) this is my red DD. I love this car! ran a 13.6@99 with almost no mods on pump gas. Very fun DD and has been pretty reliable. A real bargain for $1500! I have put about 35k on it.

Yep, I have been into DSM's for 10 years and have only had 5! My first one was a great car, as is the 2 I have now.

1st was a 90 Laser RS non turbo. Bought that one in 99.

2nd was a 95 gst. Bought that in 2001, sold it in 2003.

3rd is what I got now. 91 tsi awd. I sure would like a 2g again though, they are gorgeous!

92 TSi AWD - My "fast" car which never seems to run right
91 TSi AWD - Shell and was a planned future project. Now I need gone
90 Laser RS-T - just bought with bent valves. Planned to keep it stock
but am starting with some mods. Now is tuning into a sleeper.

It is nice to know that I can mod another car with the amount of shit I have laying around in my garage. I still own all three dsms. My dad only knows about one of them so far (92). He would have a heart attack if he knew the laser is in the garage right now and that I have another car.

1- Bought that 91 talon from Chris. Give it a huge facelift. The body was a 2, but in my hands, it's now an 8 1/2. No offense Chris. I'm working on this car alot to store the body to what it once was, I'm getting pretty damn close.

I have a feeling I'll be getting more DSM's in the future.

All my Mitsu's have been disguised as Chryslers:
DSMs:
95 Talon AWD (Manual)
91 Talon AWD (Auto)

Close, but not quite:
96 Avenger ES (not a DSM but made at the same plant)
94 Stealth RT/TT (straight from the land of the rising sun)

Just my 1998 Eclipse Spyder GST. If I ever deside to get rid of this one I'd buy another.

1998 Eclipse GSX - My Fast Car that never runs

1990 Laser RS - FUCK FWD Turbo, especially when it is cold out, absolutley no grip over 4500

1996 Talon TSI AWD - Bought over ebay from florida, sold to someone in Florida without ever seeing the keys or the car, I held the title in my hands for a day before I shipped it out.

1990 Eclipse GSX - MY winter beater - hopefully it is running by winter

1992 Eclipse 1.8 NT for my sisters to drive

Soon to come...

I am going to start buying alot of 1g's, get them to decent running condition, ie replace belts, fluids, etc. Our goal is for all of us to have 1gs for the winter.
