Pulled turbo/mani off of car, has internal cracks but I'm not sure if this is an issue since I plan on getting it ported. Interested in peoples thoughts.

Those cracks are bad, and will prove to be a terminal illness for that exhaust housing. Throw it away and find a different, uncracked exhaust housing.

Eventually it will be a major issue, but it should live for a while like that.

Thats fairly common, 14Bs usually have some cracking like that. Port it out and throw it back on.

Mine looked somewhat similar to that before porting. However, I just purchased a 7cm housing and took my old one off to find that the crack had actually grown all the way through the wastegate passage and into the turbine area. There was a small deposit of metal at the end of the crack that was INCREDIBLY close to the turbine blades. I guarentee that if I would have driven for another month I would be buying a new turbo! I would purchase a 7cm housing and port that, its cheap insurance... unless you want to buy a new turbo!
