They race them up at Thunder Alley gokart track. I can't remember what nite they do it but we watched them one time and it is hilarious!!!! Can't lean too far or they come out from under neath you. You really gotta know how take a corner to be able to beat the other guys out there.

got mine today and wow...all i can say is you all need one!
it is really fun, gets up to stop speed quick and is pretty damn quick then....
it acually is very easy to ride and not uncomfortable like the pics suggest, i got alot of odd looks around the block riding mine, and it seemed to intrest alot of kids
anyone know more about legal places to ride? parking lots , ect..? and anything more on the races? i dont want to race, just screw around on a track....

Hell yeah, plus you can use it to run up and down the pits. Could you imagine a group of us cruising norwalk on pocket rockets!

I see a lot of them at CART, IRL, F1, and Grand Am racing; I am sure they are at NASCAR events too, but I can't stand listening to them talk so I don't watch/attend.

Parking lots are about your only choice for public areas. They aren't street legal nor are they legal for trail/sidewalk use. If you just cruise residentials in your neighborhood I really doubt cops would care unless he/she was really bored. Set some cones up in a high school parking lot (big and empty this time of year) and have at it.

There are organized races for them all over the country. Do a quick internet search and you should come up the with organization.
I've wanted a used Blata for years, but the $600+ pricetag is still a little steep for me. I've been watching those cheaper ones for a while but I'd have to know they held up for a while before I'd buy one.
There's already a growing group of mini-something racers growing for the DSM shootout. I think Marco set it off last year with the all-night scooter racing at the Econodump. One guy even has a barstool cart with a turbo and nitrous.

horrible ownership, bitch didn't have a clue. trying to sell nascar porcelain figurines, refusing to allow employees to change the music off country stations, consistantly overbooking party timeslots, refusing to honor her own coupons, having no ad-writing skill whatsoever for her radio campaign that didn't even say the word "gokart", only advertising on b96, not liking leagues and refusing to run more than one or two of them, not embracing the internet by having times posted to it and allowing internet leagues/ladders, etc etc etc. essentially she had no concept whatsoever of who her market was or how to cater to it and was a fucking retard. she could have doubled prokarts profits but was a moron. my gf worked there a bit.
