Isle of Man TT - Motorcycle race

This is some crazy motocycle racing!!

The Isle of Man TT was for many years the most prestigious motor-cycle race in the world.
Between 1907 and 2009 there have been 237 deaths during official practices or races on the Snaefell Mountain Course.

Snaefell Mountain Course or Mountain Course is a road-racing circuit used for the Isle of Man TT and Manx Grand Prix Races held in the Isle of Man from 1911 and 1923 respectively. The racing is held on public roads closed for racing by an Act of Tynwald (the parliament of the Isle of Man). It is the oldest motor-cycle racing circuit still in use. The official lap record for the Snaefell Mountain Course is 17 Minutes and 12.30 seconds at an average speed of 131.578 mph (211.754 km/h) set by John McGuinness during the 2009 Senior TT Race.

WTF, that shit is fucking insane.

Apparently the mini death wobble of a jump/bump is normal. How fast are they going on them wide open parts.

Too fast on too little wheels for me. oop:

Normal for them, but it means bad news for anyone riding at normal freeway speeds. These guys know how to control their bikes. The faster the speed of the bike, the more stable it is (in a straight line) due to physics. You can see these guys crank the throttle to get themselves straight. Freakin crazy!

Looks cool however I can't understand what makes someone want to run that hard.

Re: Isle of Man TT - Motorcycle race

I've seen this before, and those guys have bigger balls than anyone who races in MotoGP or any other racing. I'd love to get on that track, however not at those speeds...

Aaron, as far as top speed, it's pretty damn close to, if not over 200 mph for the superbike class.

There must be cutouts in the tanks to accommodate the huge brass balls they must all have.
