DJs for weddings.

Hey Guys,
We are looking for a DJ for our wedding on July 3rd 2010. I was wondering if any of you know any, or are a dj looking for a wedding gig.
Let me know,
Tom

Re: DJs for weddings.

I am getting married February 6th and can let you know how the DJ was for ours. He has done it forever and have heard nothing but the best about him. PM me if you want info.

Re: DJs for weddings.

I had these guys for my wedding and was VERY impressed:

They work out of Des Moines and Sioux Falls but it is my understanding they also work in MN and NE.

Do not skimp on your DJ. My wife was in a wedding this summer that had a "cheap" DJ and he basically ruined the reception.

How was the DJ at your wedding?
Also any of you guys have any other recommendations for DJs?
Thanks,
Tom

Oh man this DJ was the best DJ I have ever seen. Put it this way, he has been doing DJ services for over 12 years and he never had a dull moment or a song that no body was dancing at. We already decided that we are having a summer party at my house just to have him over make a great party again! PM me if you want his info. He can just play music, interact a little, or be a part of the party the entire time. You just tell him the amount of interactivity you want. He has a set way that he plays his music and the types of music at certain times depending what type of people are still around later in the night. The main thing he did is that if he notices people not dancing during a song because it wasn't a song that anyone was interested, he will fade it out immediately and bring in another song unlike the last.
