Christmas gifts 2009: What did you give and recieve?

We've had these past years so I figured I'd start it off for 2009.

gave
Mom: Gift certificate to get a manicure and pedicure when she comes down to visit.
Dad: Gopher Football DVD
sister: Tickets for her and her b/f to go to the Fort Worth Zoo when they come down for spring break.
wife: Perrin shifter bushings, foot stone, manicure gift certificate, penguin ornament for the tree, a few other small misc. things.

got
parents: Two pizzas shipped from Gino's East in Chicago, gift certificate for a backyard tree, and a mystery box that hasn't arrived yet.
sister: wall-mounted mini wet/dry vacuum for the garage (3hp/2.5gallon)
wife: Houston t-shirt, Christmas tree ornament, Reese's PB trees (suck it Tag-A-Longs!), some hot salsas from TX and a hot sauce from Mexico
wife's parents: Two Craftsman magnetic trays (big and small), Craftsman multi-setting hose nozzle, Craftsman 25' tape measure
grandparents: stainless steel grilling tool set

Re: Christmas gifts 2009: What did you give and recieve?

Didn't get to give much, financially wasn't in the cards for me. Me and the bro pitched in on an AP jersey for my mom, and i bought some misc stuff for my bro.

What I got...hasn't been as important. Had a stint in the hospital for a couple days, and managed to get home on wed, so the more important thing was getting home and spending time with my family. Also got to spend a lot of time with someone very important to me, and learned to appreciate her a little more. Sure I got gifts, but what's a gift without the ones you love. Think that gets lost this time of year.
Sorry to get all sappy, haha, but that was by far my favorite gift.

Gave...digital frame for my rents..seems to be a popular thing this year, but being unemployed seems to suck ballz. Though, tomorrow hopefully, I'll become employed

Recieved, canon rebel XT (got it a while ago though, in fall), xbox 360, stereo system for my room (got it off craigslist for CHEAP!) gloves, and who knows what else. The family part of the holidays was what counts, and no one was injured.. Hope to see mine soon...
