I saw one of the new F-150s up close for the first time. All I've got to say is that I think they are a damn ugly piece of automotive engineering. Granted I'm not a Ford fan in the first place as the only Ford I would like to own would be a King Ranch Edition F-250 Powerstroke, I am not impressed at all by the new F-150s.

I am not happy with any new trucks out there. So if I don't keep the Dakota I will either buy a older 70/80 chevy and pay do have it redone and look good, or buy a brand new Nissan Titan.

I loved the new Chevy/GMCs until the '03s came out. I can't stand the look of the grill & front clip.

I really liked the f-150 03 but not the 04. I do kinda like the new ram that just came out but it is kinda a love hate relationship I don't really know why though. More love than hate.

I do hate me some Phords...but they did a pretty decent job on the new F-150. It is ugly as sin (as all all trucks), but at least its becoming more durable and tough. "Built Ford Tough" may no longer mean your mirrors fall off in the driveway.

I like the new F-150's. I think they look 10 times better than the girlish, rounded out, melted butter look of the previous model. I'd still take a Titan over the F-150 though.

If you're really interested in buying a truck or test driving one, I'd say look at the 6.0L powerstrokes. They are a rocketship on wheels! I think it's almost sick how fast they are for being a pickup.

I have driven a 6 speed Powerstroke crew cab dulley (sp?) and let me tell you, that thing had no problem making its presence known in the power department. I have yet to drive one of the 6.6 Duramaxs or one of the latest 5.9 Cummins but from what I've heard about the new Cummins (my neighbor back home has a brand new one that he pulls a 24 foot livestock trailer with) they have are also quite the powerplant.

My Uncle's mechanic is driving around an '03 F350 powerstroke with the crew cab but not a dually. That's how I got the pleasure of riding in one. For pulling boats or trailers they are the ticket from everything I've read...word is it doesn't even feel like you're towing anything. It will definitely be interesting to see what's next!
