More EVO X
I ran across some pic's of some version of the EVO X. I am sure some of you EVO guys know more about this. If you have any good links, post them up! I am getting pretty interested in this car. I bet they put the 2.4l (same as the Caliber SRT4) in the MR edition whenever that finally comes out.
They say this is a Rally version of the EVO X possibly.

Re: More EVO X
I hope nothing about the Caliber ever touches the EVO. I also hope the EVO gets a real 6-speed too.

Wow I would never own that car. I hate most concept looking cars though, if not all.

Re: More EVO X
Ya I'd say that front end is a little huge. I'm sure the real one will be toned down a bit, and much more tasteful.

Re: More EVO X
The pic is of a 1/4 scale model, so I think it is throwing off the front end a bit. Here is a pic of the 2.4l GEMA engine. The EVO X will be getting a 2.0 version from the sounds of it. The engine is not a full open deck like this first pic.

Re: More EVO X
I actually like that, but the front end is a bit huge. My only question, what the hell is up with that roof scoop?

Re: More EVO X
Yeah it's not 1/4th scale, it's a lot smaller.

Re: More EVO X
The scoop on the roof is for rally-style ventilation.

Re: More EVO X
From that one pic, I like it, the other two are broken. The front is a little big, but I'm not sure what you could do and still maintain the same genral look.

Re: More EVO X
Yea, I'm pretty sure that front end would not pass US safety regulations, so I'm sure there will be more to come. Some pics of the new lancer just came out, and they don't look half bad.

Re: More EVO X
Semi intercoolers will be going up in price soon, because that's the only thing that'll fill that grill when you cut everything away.

Wow that nose looks way to big for me. I hate to see a kid get sucked up in there. But Jet your pics of the engine did not show up.

Re: More EVO X
I changed the above pic's of the engine to links, it won't let me link directly to them.
Here is another pic of the model, it is 1/4 scale.

Re: More EVO X
I think it looks good from back and side. Just take the two scoops off, revise the rear bumper a little, and make the front end less plasticy and it would be bad ass.
